The team at Mountain View purchased the operating license in 2004. A predecessor of Google Photos – an online service Picasa is a mixture of the name Pablo Picasso and “pic” for pictures. It’s also a program integrated with a photo-sharing website no longer in use. It’s active to organize and edit digital photographs.
